CROESO!

Welcome to Caban Bryn Arw. A stunning shepherd's hut nestled in the Black Mountains of South Wales.

The Hut (or Caban)

Our traditionally designed shepherd's hut Caban Bryn Arw is situated in our separate garden (for your own use and not shared) very close to Abergavenny's dramatic Sugar Loaf mountain. It is secluded and private but with the advantage of fabulous views over the countryside.

The hut has its own UV and sediment filtered spring water supply and a separate heated Ty Bach washroom and toilet (with a 'proper' loo) and shower. It is surrounded by oak decking, meaning you won't get your feet muddy!

There is a wood burning fire and electric heater in the hut, a microwave oven and gas hob and grill, an outdoor seating area with solar lighting, a barbecue and fire pit, and secure off road parking.

A recently installed hot water system for the shower and outside washing up area, gives you all the luxuries of home – and if you cannot bear to be out of touch with the outside world we have fibre WiFi to the hut – and plenty of power points.

You don't have to use the WiFi but it's there if you do!

We're proud to have achieved outstanding scores on Booking.com, AirBnb and Pitchup!

  Booking.com Awards 2024: 9.7

  PitchUp Customer Rating 2023: 10/10

"The hut was so cosy and comfortable. With the wood burner going we curled up with a bottle of wine and just the sounds of the owls hooting outside. It was just perfect, we'll be back!"
